Our respected Peer to Peer education program is proving highly successful in both the public and private school system in motivating young people to take an interest in their health. Medical students from Mérida and interns from all over the world facilitate workshops in both middle and high schools focusing on empowerment, living a healthy lifestyle, avoiding teenage pregnancies, and the prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
