In collaboration with other institutions and non profit organizations, we hold regular free HIV testing events, including pre and post counselling, with a team of professional and trained volunteers.Statisically, an HIV positive person who does not know their status, passes the virus on to 3 other people in the first year, before they are detected. This means that potentially up to 1,500 people are prevented from acquiring it over 3 years for just one person detected.
